To support the launch of BBC’s new general entertainment channel BBC Nordic, a conceptual promo was created to intrigue audiences about the new platform. The idea centred around BBC opening a doorway to brighter entertainment.
Each of the scenes created represented different BBC Nordic shows, from David Attenborough and Top Gear , to Louis Theroux and Graham Norton, conveying their varying personalities of the channel through a series of light behaviours and effects.
The layers of textural elements, lighting and grading required to seamlessly embed the door into the environment are shown below in the forest scene, demonstrating the detail required to create a believable and immersive effect.
